Location: Devizes
Salary: Up to £37k per annum dependent on skill and experience
Hours/Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 0830am to 1700pm

About this role.
We're seeking a dedicated and innovative Process Technologist to join our team. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of product development and process improvement, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
- Product Development: Collaborate with the development team to create and refine new products, from concept to launch. This involves conducting trials, assessing ingredient functionality, and ensuring products meet both sensory and nutritional requirements.
- Process Improvement: Analyse and optimise manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability. You'll work on reducing waste, improving yields, and implementing new technologies and methodologies to streamline production.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You'll be involved in setting up quality control procedures, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Project Management: Lead and manage projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams including R&D, production, and supply chain to achieve project goals. You'll track progress, manage timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to the production team, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise. This includes offering solutions for production challenges and training staff on new processes and equipment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of trials, process changes, and project developments. You'll prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
About you.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within the food industry.
- Education: Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Passion: A genuine passion for food and innovation.
