Senior Client Service Manager

Norwich, Norfolk

Temporary up to 12 months with the possibility to move to permanent, full time (37.5 hpw) - hours and work pattern negotiable

Salary up to £32,000plus on-call shift payment of £14.30 per session and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Youll manage our service accommodating single men who are homeless. The service is part of the hostel move on agreement in Norwich, supporting people to move from street homeless into safe and supporting accommodation. We support people who have experienced significant trauma and often have considerable mental health or addiction support needs. Your team leading skills should be excellent and your ability to appreciate the challenges and barriers facing our customers should be exceptional. Typical day as a Senior Client Service Manager

  • Leading a motivated team to deliver efficient, high-quality, person-centred services in line with our contracts, evidenced by our customer satisfaction surveys and KPIs.
  • Be the Safeguarding Lead for the service
  • Ensure Health and Safety checks and risk assessments are completed and recordedaccurately
  • Managing the contracts, budgets and KPIs, and liaising with stakeholders and commissioners
  • Manage individual and team performance using coaching skills and assessing colleague competencies and objectivesto ensure customers live in a safe, supportive, person-centred service

You have

  • The people skills to take others with you, to help others grow as well as the confidence to challenge behaviours misaligned to our values
  • The understanding of where our customers are in their life and have the passion to advocate for them.
  • Experience of delivering support in a housing or care environment
  • Experience of people management
  • Experience of managing multiple services and/or managing managers
  • To get from A to B, youll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that well pay your mileage!

Due to limits on our current certificates of sponsorship, we are not able to offer sponsorship to?external?candidates for this role. This remains under regular review.

Our team

The service is well established with a wonderful team already in place, we just need to right person to take the tiller while the current manager is on secondment.

Your role would be working closely with other managers in the area (Norwich, Wymondham and across Norfolk) enabling a coordinated approach to cover and ensuring consistently across our services. You need to be flexible, professional and able to build networks and relationships both internally and externally. Your team will be led by Naomi, a brilliant colleague who has just stepped up to take on the role of Operations Manager and you will join Bex and Vicky in her team; two excellent and caring managers who will be your go to for support.

Our organisation has recently undergone some reorganisation, and we are living in exciting times! There may well be other opportunities coming up in the near future so although this is a temporary position it might be good to get your foot in the door now.

Job details

  • Flexible working hours, were open to agreeing a work pattern with you
  • The role is based at our accommodation-based service
  • You'll work closely with other managers in the area and will provide support and cover when needed. Of course, support and cover from the management team is also there when you need it too!
  • Able to use technology for record keeping, monitoring service delivery performance and managing budgets
  • Youll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
