Mission Systems Engineer
Initial 12 Month Contract

Hybrid - 3-4 days per week on site in Warton, Lancashire

£79.19 Per Hour (Inside IR35 - Umbrella Rate)

The Role

• As an experienced Mission Systems Engineer, you will get the opportunity to develop the next generation of mission systems across the engineering lifecycle, from requirements through to design, development and implementation.
• The successful candidate could be expected to provide technical expertise, supporting and / or leading in the following activities for mission systems as part of a multi-functional engineering team: Concepting, Architecting, Requirements management, Design, Testing, Safety, Cyber Security, Qualification and certification. You will be positioned as and where needed on any of these activities.
• Lead and support team meetings / DSUMs / Agile reviews
• Manage / help / direct less experienced Systems Engineers, e.g. an Apprentice

The Candidate will require experience with the following:

• Systems engineering and engineering lifecycle experience
• Knowledge of systems engineering methods and tools (e.g. UML/SysML, MoDAF, MOOD, Matlab)
• Experience of developing mission systems and associated domain knowledge
