Salary: £31,590 per annum + Benefits - Successful candidates are subject to our Development Progression Scale, as well as annual salary reviews

Covering HMP Birmingham , Dovegate, Hewell & Swinfen Hall - Due to regular travel the role does require access to transport (i.e. daily commutes, multi-site travel on occasion)

What you will be doing:

• Manage & lead a team of Support Workers and Activity facilitators, ensuring best use of resources to deliver activities on a day-to-day basis in a custody setting
• Supporting the development of the team, providing a full learning & development servicing to the wider team
• Liaising & building relationships with internal Departments within the custody setting, including OMU to support with referrals to the programme
• Planning, delivering & evaluation of all training, on a one-to-one and group basis in support of these objectives and as determined by internal and external contractual and development requirements

To be successful you will require:

• Previous Team Management / Lead experience is essential
• Experience of overseeing performance, mentoring & supporting colleagues, ensuring KPIs are met
• Stakeholder Management: Ability to effectively network & build relationships internally & externally
