Are you passionate about urban forestry and conservation? We are seeking a dedicatedTree Coordinatorto join our team. In this crucial role, you will ensure the accurate delivery of data for tree works, working closely with local authorities, natural resource departments, and our internal teams. Your primary objective will be to verify and document necessary permissions and restrictions for tree works, ensuring compliance with local and national regulations across the UK and Ireland.

What you will achieve:

Data Verification & Documentation:Use mapping systems to verify Tree Preservation Orders, Conservation Areas, and Natural Resources constraints

Client & Stakeholder Communication:Liaise with tree officers, planning departments, and internal teams to gather and share essential information.

Regulatory Compliance:Conduct thorough checks and obtain necessary permits to ensure compliance.

Planning & Coordination:Work with Contract Managers and the Extra Works Team to keep all information accurate and current. Update tender databases with approved and completed works

Issue Resolution:Identify and address or escalate potential issues to prevent delays, provide regular updates and escalate issues where needed.

Who we are looking for:

We are particularly welcoming applications from candidates who have previous experience with working with local authorities as part of a commercial business as well as the following:

  • Proficiency in using interactive mapping systems.
  • Strong data management and cross-referencing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Highly resilient, with strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Strong decision-making abilities and attention to detail.
