Buyer – Groundworks & Civil Engineering (Redditch)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Buyer to join a leading groundworks and civil engineering contractor based in Redditch. In this role, you will be responsible for purchasing materials for large residential groundworks projects across housebuilding sites in the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase materials for 3-8 residential groundworks sites, depending on experience.
• Source and manage procurement of materials such as concrete, aggregates, drainage, reinforcements, ground floor beams, roads & sewers, and other groundworks supplies.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
• Work closely with site managers and project teams to meet the material needs of each project.
• Monitor and manage stock levels, placing orders efficiently to meet project deadlines.
