Job Description
The Client:
They are seeking a 'traditional' Senior Estimator to join a busy expanding team. Reporting to the Pre-Construction Manager who will provide technical and management support in line with tender workload.
You will be expected to lead the tender process and work independently on multiple bids, albeit with input from the Pre-Construction Planner and Proposals Manager.
Must have experience of single stage Design and Build within residential and education sectors
Must be capable of producing Bills of Quantities to SMM7 or NRM standards
Software preferred Causeway, Bluebeam, CAD measure - computer based analytical estimate build up is essential for each tender
There is a definite pathway to Managing Estimator available based on ability and skill. My client values relationship building and believes this has been the foundations of their success. In line with this company ethos the role would suit a Senior Estimator who will be confident, approachable and able to form good working relationships across the company and with supply chain and consultant teams.
