Demand Planner

As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in analysing sales data and market trends to forecast demand and ensure optimal inventory levels for our clients. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective strategies that meet customer demands while minimizing costs. Responsibilities Analyse historical sales data and market trends to create accurate demand forecasts. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather insights and align on demand expectations. Develop inventory strategies to meet customer requirements and minimize excess or shortage of stock. Monitor and manage inventory levels, taking into account lead time, production capacity, and supply chain constraints. Conduct regular reviews of forecast accuracy and make adjustments as necessary. Identify and address demand-related issues, including stockouts, backorders, and overstocks. Stay informed about industry developments and market trends that may impact demand. Utilize demand planning software and tools to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency. Requirements: Proven experience as a Demand Planner or similar role. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in demand planning software and ERP systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
