MECHATRONIC ENGINEER Randburg The company is doing cutting-edge development work for the Automotive and Railway Industry. Concept, detail design and products/ parts that are designed and manufactured locally or in some cases manufactured overseas in various continents. The applicant that we are looking for must have a passion for Robotics, Automation and the interface of Automation to Mechanical equipment on the manufacturing side. A varied and challenging position within a multidisciplinary environment. Within the company, there is broad knowledge of software and system engineering for developing, testing and commissioning machines and equipment. Qualification and Experience required: BEng/BSc Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering. Experience in Automation and Control Systems Software Programming (C, .net, Phyton) Project Management Knowledge Responsibilities Assist with Automation of plant of Inline product manufactured. Specify, design and program related to machine setups Review and identify processes requiring automation. The role will cover a range of test activities. Build prototypes and evaluate performance. Troubleshooting and maintenance Develop customized controls and mechatronic subsystems for machine building in cooperation with other departments.
