About this team: The Lululemon GEC Tech team manages crucial platforms for Guest Support, aligning their work with business objectives and ensuring efficient project delivery. This team, comprised of both in-office and remote members, thrives on connection and collaboration. They maintain a strong relationship with their business partners and are dedicated to providing high-level support and project delivery without disrupting operations. A day in the life: As the Senior Engineer I on GEC Technology Team, you will be working with cross functional team to define observability needs for GEC platforms and solutions. You will ensure that the GEC solutions are incorporating best observability practices as defined in industry and as adopted by lululemon enterprise engineering teams. You are also driving right level of automation and leading the GEC Tech team to create efficiencies. This includes excellence in the areas of monitoring, alerting, observability, incident response, vendor relationship management, and building strong relationships with your internal stakeholders. Roles & responsibilities: Analyze business requirements andSolution Approach for a wide range of business initiatives Create Detail Technical Designs to get right level of monitoring, alerting on Salesforce Service cloud platform Create Detail Technical Designs to get right level of monitoring, alerting on GEC platforms like five9, gift cards, chatbots to name a few CreateDetail Technical Designs to get the right level of monitoring, alerting, on Custom builtmicroservices, either using Spring Boot or AWS Serverless, and Kubernetes. Build, Test and deploy webservice based solutions to satisfy business requirements Partner with other technical teams (cloud infrastructure, integrations, etc.), create interface documents and mappings to ensure that the GEC solutions are built in a Service Oriented Architecture pattern Provide L3 support for Production issues Build and Define Engineering toolsets to support technology initiatives Required Qualifications & Technical Expertise: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field At-least 5 years of hands on experience in Salesforce Service cloud or equivalent CRM solutions At-least 3 years of hands on experience in monitoring, alerting, incident response At-least 3 years of experience in designing complex backend applications and web services using java At-least 3 years of experience leveraging Service Now, Splunk, Datadog, and PagerDuty Experience in developing and designing applications using cloud technologies preferably AWS Experience in designing and building CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, maven/gradle Experience with designing and building cloud resource provisioning pipelines using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform At-least 2 years of experience with container technologies like docker, kubernetes, helm (EKS is a plus) Experience with relational database technologies like myql or postgresql Experience in writing automated tests using frameworks like junit, cucumber etc Experience with developing and designing applications that use streaming technologies like Apache kafka
