Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities

• Manage strategic sourcing processes incl. RFx
• Active supplier management, especially in establishing and developing supplier relationships
• Creation of a spent-map in collaboration with Group-wide Procurement
• Obtaining and evaluating offers, as well as negotiating purchasing and procurement conditions and contracts with suppliers in consultation with strategic purchasing and production planning
• Optimization of coordination with the production plants as part of the regular S&OP and foster collaboration with R&D and Production
• Conduct regular risk assessments to identify emerging risks and develop mitigation plans
• Management and maintenance of purchasing/procurement data and documents
• Define group-wide procurement processes to foster collaboration and efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree preferable in chemistry, business, economics, finance or/and specialization in advanced procurement management will be advantageous
• Several years of relevant experience in strategic and/or operational procurement in the chemical industry
• Negotiating skills with a solution-oriented approach
• Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
• Proficient Business English and German
• Confident handling of SAP and all common MS Office tools
• Willingness to travel, to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationships
