Our client, an established software company that provides enterprise level digital transformation solutions, are seeking a talented Business Development Manager to join their dynamic sales team. This role offers a competitive salary of between £30-45K (depending on relevant experience) with uncapped commissions, providing unlimited earning potential .. typically sales staff earn up to double their basic in additional bonus.

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business sales. You will be responsible for managing an entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals with C-level executives. This is a fast-paced, entrepreneurial role that requires a proactive and innovative approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full sales cycle, from cold calling to closing deals
  • Conduct in-depth research to understand industry challenges and identify potential solutions
  • Effectively communicate the unique value proposition of the company's solutions
  • Present and demonstrate solutions to C-level executives
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and negotiate complex agreements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • The ideal candidate will be a tenacious sales professional seeking to advance their career with a market-leading tech firm. Experience in selling software solutions is preferred, along with a proven track record of sales success.

Essential Criteria:

  • 1-2+ years of sales experience (SaaS solutions desirable, perfect would be someone that has sold websites - but other sectors would also considered, medical being a good alternative.
  • Proven successful sales experience, your CV will show your accolades
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a desire to close deals
  • Ability to manage an entire sales cycle efficiently
  • Resilience under pressure with a consistent work ethic
  • Outgoing personality with a proactive and determined attitude alongside good listening skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and professional business communication
  • Understanding of selling to the public sector is highly advantageous
