Senior / Chartered Building Surveyor

Our client a building consultancy in Hammersmith, West London are currently recruiting for a Senior / Chartered Building Surveyor to join them on a full time, permanent basis from their London office working across the residential, commercial, education and public sectors.

The Building Surveyor would be expected to take responsibility as project leader for project delivery and have a varied experience of professional services and project-based works.

Senior / Chartered Building Surveyor Position Overview

• Attend project meetings and undertake site inspections
• Provide clients with detailed fee proposals
• Defects diagnosis
• Contract administration and project-based works
• Condition surveys and reports
• Feasibility studies and reports
• Specification of building works
• Design work for housing conversion and re-conversion, repairs, maintenance, refurbishment, conversion, different building types ranging from low to high rise and period to new build.

Senior / Chartered Building Surveyor Position Requirements

• MRICS qualified or close.
• Live within a commuting distance of West London
• Client facing or consultancy experience
• Varied building surveying knowledge and experience

Senior / Chartered Building Surveyor Position Remuneration

• Salary: £45k - £70k (Dependant on experience - Guide only)
• Hybrid working
• Annual leave - 33 days' paid holiday in each holiday year [including the usual public holidays in England and Wales (standard 8 days) and 4 days which must be taken for Christmas closure] up to 38 days (1 day extra for every complete 2 years employed, up to a maximum 5 extra days).
