Trailer Freight Forwarding Clerk

Our client is a well-established international freight forwarder who are now looking for an experienced European Road Freight Clerk to join their growing Bradford branch in the European freight exports division
For over 150 years my client has been handling export and import shipping requirements throughout Europe and Worldwide. Their reputation is based on their caring, customer focused service and competitive pricing

Working within a busy road freight forwarding operation. The successful applicant would be involved with the Benelux export road freight department, including liaising with clients, hauliers and agents load planning export groupage consignments

Duties include:
* Quoting customers
* Liasing with Customers, Agents and overseas offices
* Liaising export documentation to enable trailers to transit UK Ports and Europe.
* Load planning and liaising with hauliers.
* Customer service

Experience required:
* Freight forwarding road freight experience
* You will have a good level of education and be a good communicator.
* Good telephone manner.
* Good computer skills - Additional training will be given in the use of our in-house Systems.
* The ability to work in fast paced and pressurised environment
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Benefits:
* Salary £25,000 - £30,000
* Monday - Friday 9am to 5.30 pm /1 hour for lunch.
