IT Project Management Associate Advisor Position Overview: The job profile for this position is an IT Project Management Associate Advisor. As a Portfolio Planning and Metrics Team Member in Evernorth Technology, based on the Evernorth Technology Strategy and Development Team, you will be supporting several Development/Delivery related organizations; working across multiple Technology development, production, and infrastructure support teams. You will be leading or assisting primarily with financial management of the organization but will have the opportunity to support a variety of Technology related initiatives . Youll be expected to understand the current financial state, portfolio themes and aid in understanding risks/opportunities that exist, and communicate with leadership about their budget and portfolio performance. In addition to financial management, you will support the organization by also focusing on supplier/vendor/resource management. This may include assisting with Request for Proposals from suppliers on development or production support efforts, supporting our hiring controls process, developing vendor or resource capacity strategies, and more. Other areas of support, based on need, may be around chief of staff responsibilities, deeper workforce management responsibilities, and also reporting and relationship management primarily with offshore teams. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a high-paced operational environment. Someone who is flexible with their services and outputs to meet the specific needs of the leadership body they support. Someone who is comfortable flexing into different work types based on existing priorities/demands. This role will act as an independent contributor aligned to support both specific leadership needs while finding ways to help drive efficiency and quality into broader more shared operational processes that span multiple stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Accountable for financial management of Evernorth Technology organizations, including resource plans, baseline planning, coordination of portfolio planning, management of risks to financial plans in close collaboration with team members Designing, developing and deploying visual dashboards or reports that integrate, simplify and streamline data consumption using Power BI, Microsoft and Tableau daily. Proficient in macro development and deployment to add levels of automation to repeatable operational tasks for Technology Collaborating across key organizations like Business, Finance, Human Resources and Technology. Assist in Vendor management, the intake and development of Vendor contracts, working closely with business partners and the Sourcing Department to develop terms and conditions, pricing and processes that support our customers Leverage solid problem solving and critical thinking skills to manipulate data from multiple sources to create business centric reporting capabilities Participate in team discussions with Leadership to identify and support process gaps, risks and opportunities and own process related takeaways Responsible for development and operational management of key performance indicators and measures the drive performance across shared or key Technology processes. Strong ability to prioritize and communicate these priorities across competing business stakeholders and internal customers. Supply Chain Management experience and sourcing expertise to understand vendor lifecycle A service-oriented mindset with the ability to work proficiently across multiple processes to meet unique leadership needs while balancing ways to drive scale and affordability Six Sigma/Process improvement experience to help drive efficiencies working across a matrix-team environment. Serve as a primary point-of-contact for leadership with key matrix partner (HR, Finance, etc.) inquiries or escalations as needed Required Experience / Qualifications: Demonstrated exceptional Tableau development and publication experience & MicrosoftExcel skills. Proven written and verbal communication skills with ability to conveying complex or technical information in a manner others can understand across different levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team with management and technical support teams on highly visible,complex projects with respect to quality, cost and timeliness Solid financial experience and management skills including resource planning, budgeting, future planning, portfolio planning and risk/opportunity development identification. Familiar with technology and tool trends, showing ability to integrate trends and best practices into solutions and strategic roadmaps Proven ability to effectively navigate in a highly matrix organization Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with individuals at various levels Experience working with process engineering & analytics,using Six Sigma & Change Management (ADKAR) methodology (DMAIC, DMADV, Guage R&R, etc.) and tools (Minitab) to analyze and optimize ongoing operational activities or find/improve root cause issues. Detail oriented and strong organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage a heavy workload. Experience collaborating with and managing strategic vendor relationships across a variety of service offerings/categories Desired Experience / Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience is preferred Five to Seven or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of six years of experience in technology delivery and financial management, 4 years of leadership or the equivalent in education and/or work experience preferred Understanding of relational databases and tools such as Tableau PMP & Change Management Certifications are beneficial SQL maintenance and development a plus Experience working in a financial background/institution a plus Qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, age, disability, sex, childbirth (including pregnancy) or related medical conditions including but not limited to lactation, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, veteran or military status, religion, national origin, ancestry, marital or familial status, genetic information, status with regard to public assistance, citizenship status or any other characteristic protected by applicable equal employment opportunity laws.
