Our team in India works as an extension of the global team on projects of strategic importance. About this team: The Global Logistics and Trade Technology team is committed to unlocking business potential with our Global Fulfillment partners, across Inbound Logistics, Outbound Logistics and Global Trade. Supporting both vendor and propriety systems our department provides solutions to enable our partners in streamlining the lifecycle of product coming from our finished goods factories to global DCs, product leaving our global DCs landing in our guest hands as well as international trade across logistics and settlement activities including but not limited to components such as product classification, import/export process management and commercial invoice information. We are a fast-paced growing team focused on achieving compliance and cross-border financial savings. We are seeking a talented Technology Manager who will oversee the Outbound Logistics Technology team at the Bangalore SSC and be part of the strategic expansion of this group as we continue to invest in our ITH footprint to support our business partners globally in our parcel engine products and outbound logistics capabilities. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the success of your team and proactively identify the most high-value deliverables and keep the team focused on meeting quality standards. You are a leader who is comfortable managing team members with various skillsets and can communicate expectations clearly to all team members. You operate as an owner and are an advocate for your people who understands we are stronger as a team than as an individual. A day in the life: Develop tactical and strategic plans, technical roadmaps, and business cases in collaboration with business partners and other technology leaders Lead and develop a team of architects, systems analysts and engineers focused on delivery and support Partner closely with other Global Fulfillment/Supply Chain Technology managers and architects, especially our NA-based Outbound Logistics Technology team, to ensure new and existing solutions create a friction-free experience for our global employee base Partner closely with Global Fulfillment product management teams in North America and India on prioritization of technology delivery Develop key relationships with business partners, technology peers and product management seamless delivery Demonstrate thought leadership and coach and mentor team members to leverage technology best practices around architecture and design Ensure team produces software that meets business and technology requirements which is resilient, monitorable, performant and maintainable Ensure the right skills are being used to solve the right problems by supporting the team with coaching, skills development, and career path leadership Work with project stakeholders to map business requirements to project deliverables, resource planning & project plans Identify and remove roadblocks to success Vendor management of key software and services Being a role model and lead awareness and training for your team in our IDEA program - Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Action. Qualifications: 12 years of experience enabling key business priorities through the successful delivery & support of technology, and 3 years as a leader overseeing a broad range of talent Experience in leading development using Java, Angular, Kafka and spring, microservices framework Experience working and leading in a DevOps operating model utilizing Cloud infrastructure Experience working and leading SaaS product operating models Experience in developing object-oriented development frameworks within Agile/Scrum Strong track record of managing external vendors and service providers Experience supporting a broad group of stakeholders Experience driving adoption of technology through education, training, and other organizational change management strategies Strong collaboration skills to achieve business goals collectively across broad teams Challenges the status quo, champions change and influences others to change Strong preference for those with experience leading a technology team in retail, especially in logistics Must haves: Acknowledges the presence of choice in every moment and takes personal responsibility for their life Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results Communicates with honesty and kindness and creates the space for others to do the same Leads with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure Fosters connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships Integrates fun and joy as a way of being and working, aka doesnt take themselves too seriously
