Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of complex solutions, coding larger features from start to finish Actively participate in planning, and performing code and architecture reviews of their teams product Help ensure the quality and integrity of the SDLC for their team and identify opportunities for improvement in how the team works, through usage of recommended tools and practices. Lead the triage of complex production issues across systems Demonstrate creativity and take initiative in solving complex problems As a high performer, consistently deliver a high volume of story points relative to their team Aware of the technology landscape, plan delivery of coarse-grained business needs spanning multiple applications Influence technical peers outside their team Set a consistent example of agile development practices and coach other engineers to work as a team with Product and UX Create and improve internal libraries and tools Provide technical leadership on the product and determine technical approach Proactively communicate status and issues to their manager Collaborate with other teams to find creative solutions to customer issues Show a commitment to delivery deadlines, in particular seasonal and vendor partner deadlines that are critical to Best Buys continued success Basic Qualifications 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience. Advanced level of React Native Experience creating mobile applications for iOS and Android Experience with Expo, Mobile App Statistics and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Ability to build and optimize mobile applications and platforms in a cloud environment with a solid understanding of system design Understands React Webhooks and Redux Firm grasp of the JavaScript language and its nuances, including ES6 syntax Knowledge of functional programming Excellent communication skills, especially when working with a distributed team Proficient in creating Unit Tests using Junit and Jest or similar Experience with Modular Design patterns Experience with Aggregate Restful services and/or GraphQL Preferred Qualifications Experience working in an omni-channel retail environment Experience creating stateful mobile applications Knowledge and experience with CI/CD tooling and platforms, tools like GitHub, Jenkins Ability to work in a test-driven development environment Familiarity with Jira Familiarity with Miro Familiarity with Figma About Best Buy BBY India is a service provider to Best Buy and as part of the team that will work on Best Buy projects and initiatives, youll help us fulfill Best Buys purpose to enrich lives through technology.
