Bid Writer

We are working with a multi-award-winning Architecture firm who are seeking to appoint a Bid Writer. The role is hybrid, working from home and the head office based in Kettering. The salary is up to £40,000.

This role would ideally suit someone looking to focus on writing the quality of content and influence the writing criteria. Candidates within the construction sector would be beneficial, bid writing experience is essential.

Role responsibilities

• You will write high quality responses and prepare successful tender submissions
• You will assist in the management of the bid process when acting as lead writer on retenders and smaller bids
• Coordinate with project leads, designers, and other team members to gather input and insights for bid development
• You’ll review content to ensure it’s engaging and original, and most importantly meets the clients requirements
• You will maintain and update the bid library, ensuring the content is relevant

What you’ll need

• A degree in English, Journalism, History, Creative Writing or similar would be a huge advantage
• A passion for creating compelling content
• for bid development,
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
