• Levels: GCSE and A-Level
• Start Date: September 2024 (or as soon as possible)
• Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Salary: MPS/UPS plus TLR 1b

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Science department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that inspires and engages students in the study of Science.
• Support and mentor Science teachers, fostering professional development and collaboration.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Science department, implementing strategies for continuous improvement.
• Teach Science, including your specialism to A-Level.

Requirements:

• A degree in Science, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Science at GCSE and A-Level.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• A passion for Science education and a commitment to student success.
