The AV Engineer Role:

• Knowledge of audio-visual, mechanical, and electrical services, including control systems, lighting, HVAC, BMS, access control, and security.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and the MS 365 suite.
• Strong time management.
• Accuracy in managing project documentation.
• Capability to impart engineering knowledge and train others.
• Monitoring and reporting project progress to the lead engineer.
• Building and managing relationships with other contractors.
• Team player with the ability to identify weaknesses and provide guidance and support.
• Ability to work independently in an organized and efficient manner.
• Attention to detail and a solid understanding of quality control.
• Excellent communication skills on both technical and personal levels.
• Preferably, a clean driving license.
• Punctual, presentable, and able to represent the company on project sites.

AV Engineer Essential Skills:

• Experience with multiple projects using both Crestron DM and NVX.
• Strong knowledge and experience with networks and network architecture.
• Proficiency with digital audio systems such as Qsys or BSS.
• Experience with lighting systems like Crestron and Lutron, including programming and installation.
• Essential fault-finding and commissioning skills.
• Excellent use of hand tools, test equipment, and soldering proficiency.
