Job Description
This is a new permanent appointment available on either a full or part-time basis.
The HR Manager will be accountable for all people-related processes and will be required to demonstrate exemplary leadership standards and skills and act with integrity at all times.
They will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, shaping a positive work culture by championing our values.

1 x HR Advisor reporting into the role
Main Duties
Drive and manage the provision of people management guidance and support the ongoing development of our people & culture strategy
Lead on all employee relations matters ensuring they are handled fairly and consistently in line with legal requirements and policies and procedures
Provide advice to managers on any performance management issues, ensuring adherence to employment law
Development and ongoing review and update of people-related policies and procedures
Management and ongoing review of all employment contracts
Support managers to nurture an inclusive culture and workplace that gets the best out of our people.
Implement and oversee programmes of learning
Lead regular surveys to provide insights on colleagues’ perceptions and needs, including an annual staff survey
Support internal communications and the planning and delivery of staff away days
Work closely with the Finance team to ensure the accurate processing of payroll
Line manage the HR Advisor, ensuring opportunities for their personal and professional growth
Be an active member of the organisation wide committees, such as the Wellbeing Committee, People and Organisational Development Committee
Assist and advise the Senior Leadership Team around restructures and potential redundancies
