A diverse and challenging role which requires both technical and commercial awareness. As a project engineer it is your responsibility to design, manage, purchase, and liaise with customers and suppliers alike - to deliver a project on time, to customer specifications, and within budget.

• Produce project plans/ Gantt charts and ensure projects run on time.
• Contribute to the overall performance of the engineering department.
• Work effectively with the engineering team and shopfloor personnel
• Produce quality, accurate, realistic designs using SolidWorks.
• Read, understand, and apply customer specifications to ensure system compliance.
• Produce technical documents such as general arrangement drawings, parts lists, manufacturing drawings, quality plans, and P&IDs.
• Professionally liaise with customers either in person or via TEAMs.
• Source & Procure components through an established supply chain and negotiate price and terms.
• Produce manufacturing dossiers.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of Project Engineer experience
• SolidWorks
• OEM rotating equipment – Oil & Gas Industry or Hydraulics
• Knowledge of Sheet metal and design optimisation. Manufacturing background
