Strategy & Planning Consultant - Technology

We are looking for a Strategy & Planning Consultant to work on an project with our client based in Glasgow, Scotland.

This role is a contracted role operated on a hybrid basis for the initial duration of 1 year, and the option to extend.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, coordination and execution of all department events including Open Forums and Knowledge Shares
• Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging communications within the departments (e.g. newsletters)
• Manage updates to the internal Jive websites
• Provide support to stakeholders in preparation for internal and external events, when required
• Represent the departments at communications forums (e.g CDRR forum) and identify ways they can communicate to broader audiences
• Create and maintain a repository of key programme and department materials.
• Manage the implementation and running of the IBR meetings; including working with fleets to create compelling artefacts, powerpoints and story boards.
• Support with the preparation and running of CoS meetings with senior stakeholders
• Support the CoS lead (and assist broader CoS aligned team across London & the US)
• Supports on strategic planning for 2024-2026.
• Supports fleets in variety of ways to get standard of ways of working aligned with other departments; including planning, reporting and programme management.

Requirements:

• Self-starting, independent, energetic, can-do attitude
• Strong content design skills (Presentations)
• Strong influence and effective at building rapport with variety of stakeholders.
• Positive and problem-solving approach.
• Experience in Programme Office deliveries / managing BoW’s
• Experience in strategic planning
• Experience in creating plans of communicating engaging on a variety of topics within a Super-department
• Good stakeholder engagement / communication skills
• Content familiarity (Data / Data Governance / Financial planning / Resource management)
