ABOUT THE POSITION:

Australia's largest public museum organisation is seeking an experienced and Site Manager to manage the delivery and installation a major new exhibition. You'll use your amazing skills to coordinate the onsite installation of a major new 1800 square meter biodiversity gallery. Our Site managers work in partnership with cross-functional teams and external contractors to guide and direct the installation of innovative visitor experiences.

Notable skills and experiences:

The successful applicant will have:

  • Confidence in leading the delivery of complex exhibition installations or interior fit outs in a live environment.
  • Proven success managing all elements of an onsite installation including controlling all aspects of site safety.
  • Experience building collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • Expertise in tracking schedules and budgets for large projects, confidence reading and interpreting plans and experience communicating progress to multiple stakeholders
  • An interest in museums and visitor attractions and the motivation to bring high-quality innovative experiences to our visitors

OTHER INFORMATION

This position is Full time, fixed term (9 months). The salary for this position is $92,332 (Pro Rata) plus 11% superannuation.
