We are currently seeking a highly motivated Tyre Fitter / Crane Operator and Trade Assistant (All Rounder) to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to provide essential support to the maintenance department, ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of workshop operations through continuous training and coaching.


About the role

• Operating various slewing cranes and assisting with rigging duties when required


• Provide essential support to the maintenance team


• Diagnose tyre/rim/wheel conditions as required


• Remove and replace rim/wheel to vehicles, remove and replace tyres to rim/wheel as required


• Perform regular tyre inflation pressure checks, adjust and report to Supervisor


• Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins and computer based systems


• Setting and maintaining high housekeeping standards

About you

• Hold a CN Crane Ticket (non slewing)


• Intermediate Riggers ticket (desirable)


• Hold a Working at Heights and EWP license


• Certificate II Automotive Tyre Servicing Essential


• Minimum of 1 year experience in mine site based heavy tyre fitting


• Proven compliance and commitment to health and safety at all times
