We're seeking an experienced and passionate cook to join our team as a Childcare Cook! If you have a love for preparing healthy, child-friendly meals, we'd love to hear from you. Our menus are designed to fuel young bodies and minds, promoting overall wellbeing and development.

Your Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 6 months to 5 years old


• Work closely with our Educators and Centre Manager to plan menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of the children

This role is Part-Time working 18 hours per week, on a contract ending July 2025, with the possibility to extend.

• Capacity: up to 117 children


• Operating Hours: 6:30am to 6:30pm

About You

• Experienced in Menu planning, budgeting, stock ordering & control


• Experienced in dietary and allergy safe requirements.


• Experienced in ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment in accordance with the relevant Food Safety regulations


• Be a Team Player with great communication and interpersonal skills


• Be available for set shift days and times Monday to Friday

Successful Applicants must hold

• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification and experience in a cook role


• A current Working with Children’s Check and First Aid


• Completed or willing to complete Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
