Job Description

Programmed Skilled Workforce is looking for a carpenter for their client based in Para Hills.


Our client has been at the forefront of innovation, shaping the landscape of Australia's modular construction and RV industries for the past six decades. They have been leading the way with sustainable modular building solutions.


As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing and maintaining transportable buildings. This includes building items such as stairs, ramps, making repairs to the internal and external structure and ensuring buildings are safe.



Duties include -



  • Install sheet flooring, windows and doors and sheet metal roof cladding

  • Install exterior wall claddings, linings, panelling and mouldings

  • Fit man-holes, special door furniture and modify furniture products

  • Build stairs and ramps and erect steal wallframes and roof trusses

  • Undertake reworks and refurbish builds as required

  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding



Requirements of the role -



  • Carpentry Trade Qualification or equivalent experience in knowledge and trade skills

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

  • White Card (Construction Card)

  • Valid Australian Driver's License

  • Experience with use of power tools

  • Working at Heights or EWP ticket (desirable)

  • First Aid certificate (desirable)
