Job Description

Finance Officer



  • Contract: Two Year Contract

  • Location: Perth CBD

  • Hours: 38 hours per week


About the Role: As the Finance Officer, you will provide specialist administration and investigation into financial transactions while delivering excellent service to stakeholders. This role spans Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).


Responsibilities:



  • Identify and implement opportunities for performance improvement.

  • Maintain and update working procedures.

  • Reconcile daily cash flows and control accounts.

  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.

  • Manage debt collection processes.

  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily, weekly, and monthly accounts functions.

  • Apply accounts-specific policies and procedures.

  • Support team leader with technical assistance, mentoring, and training.

  • Process customer invoices and support revenue collection.

  • Investigate system issues and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Perform ad hoc duties as required.


Requirements:



  • Minimum 3 years of experience in AP and AR.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.

  • Previous experience with electronic accounting systems.

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills for debt collections.

  • Strong problem-solving ability and accuracy under pressure.

  • Available to start immediately.

  • Full working rights within Australia for a minimum of 2 years and able to work full-time.
