Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:



  • Maintain workplace safety and comply with SHE Management System.

  • Seek and act on site safety feedback.

  • Ensure compliance with Fatigue Management (COR) requirements.


  • Manage and report driver safety incidents.



  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and training requirements.

  • Schedule and dispatch deliveries efficiently.

  • Ensure accurate load allocation.

  • Maximise truck utilisation.

  • Resolve delivery concerns and improve service.

  • Maintain product and service knowledge.

  • Meet KPI targets and promote continuous improvement.

  • Communicate service-related information effectively.

  • Optimise cartage costs.

  • Maximize fleet utilization and minimize waste.

  • Coordinate plant opening/closing times.

  • Notify logistics of service disruptions.

  • Create and maintain an effective team.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and drivers.

  • Implement change management strategies.

  • Complete training programs.

  • Train and coach team members.

  • Recommend training to address skill gaps.

  • Lead by example and resolve conflicts.

  • Maintain high emotional intelligence.

  • Keep teams informed about job changes clearly and calmly.

  • Identify suitable duties and ensure safe return to work.

  • Comply with return-to-work obligations.

  • Perform varied duties as required, consistent with training and skills.



Ideal Candidate:



  • Strong knowledge of Perth geographical areas and suburb locations.

  • Understanding of Regional geographical areas primarily South West WA and Avon Regions

  • Strong industry and logistics knowledge preferably in the pre-mix concret or distribution industry.

  • Preferred supervisory experience.

  • Capacity to learn and use new computer programs.
