Job Description

VACANCY: Business Administrator


We are looking for a Part Time Business Administrator to support the management team at Adventure Travel


This is a part-time position, working 20hrs per week, reporting directly to the Managing Director.


The role will involve the following tasks (not an exhaustive list):


· Obtaining quotes from contractors for business projects and booking in work

· Taking minutes at management meetings and circulating them to managers

· Ordering stationary and office supplies

· Ordering uniform for driving staff

· Undertaking quarterly driving licence checks for driving staff

· Liaising with local authorities over road defects / overgrown vegetation etc.

· Pursuing debtors through the small claims court procedure (systems already in place)

· General administrative / organisation assistance for the Managing Director

· Various other administrative tasks (letter writing, hotel booking, managing asset logs etc.)


The ideal candidate will need to possess the following qualities / skills:


· Be incredibly organised, with systems in place to manage projects / orders / tasks

· Be confident in dealing with contractors, colleagues and visitors

· Be able to demonstrate previous organisation skills and task management

· Be able to work on own initiative and prioritise workload

· Be genuinely interested in helping to continually improve our business

This is a permanent, part-time role, based predominantly at Cardiff depot but with travel to Swansea depot required once every three weeks (the use of a pool car is sometimes available). APPLICANTS MUST BE LOCATED IN SOUTH WALES AND BE ABLE TO COMMUTE TO OUR OFFICE IN CARDIFF.


Salary Range: £18,000 – £18,500 dependant on experience / qualifications etc.
