We provide an open environment that will allow your job to grow with you. What are we looking for? Alert Labs is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Manufacturing assembly team. With a formal electronics background and strong communication skills, the successful candidate will focus on reverse logistics for line fallout and field returns, including working with our third-party distribution partner to disposition product returns. The successful candidate will be one who is able to work independently as well as within a team. They will be organized, motivated, and will bring a proactive methodology to all their tasks. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years’ experience in a technical role(s) within an electronics manufacturing environment with experience in product assembly, product debug, and product repair. Responsibilities: Debug & Repair: Perform first-level debug and repair of manufacturing line fallout. Field Returns Analysis: Conduct first-level analysis, root cause identification, and disposition of field returns. Coordination with Third-Party Distribution Partner: Provide direction to third-party and ensure timely processing of the disposition of US-based returns. Coordinate shipments to and from our US-based third party to support US-based distribution. Technical Support: Provide basic level technical support for production line equipment and applications. Solder Repairs/Reworks: Perform PCB assembly level solder repairs and reworks to support development and production needs. Project Management: Manage small projects related to product reworks and other manufacturing-related tasks that require a champion. Product Assembly: Assemble products as needed to support urgent business priorities. Skills and Education: Education: Post-secondary education with a focus on electronics. Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in a technical role within an electronics manufacturing environment, including product assembly, debug, and repair. Technical Skills: Experience with PCB level soldering and electronic product repair. Project Management: Ability to manage small projects with multiple actions and priorities. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail. I nitiative: Excellent initiative and ability to work independently. Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple functional groups.
