We are currently seeking a Senior Asset Change Manager to deliver Asset Change projects to time, cost, and quality, whilst remaining compliant with AWE Processes.

The role of the Senior Asset Change Manager is to drive efficient delivery of Asset Change Management requests on behalf of a business unit or project, whilst maintaining the correct balance between delivery and governance.

You will be expected to manage changes with awareness and compliance to the nuclear license conditions, conventional industry safety and environmental regulations.

We are interested in hearing from candidates who have a working knowledge of project or change delivery and an interest in working in a regulated environment.

Location - Reading area - Although there are opportunities to work from home, you will be required to travel to site as per business demands.

Salary - from £48,250 - £55,000

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.
  • Deliver a portfolio of Asset Change Projects in accordance with requirements, operational constraints, time, cost and quality.
  • Deliver continuous improvement in the effectiveness and efficient application of company processes.
  • Build and maintain collaborative cross-functional working relationships

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Asset Change Projects with focus on ensuring the correct balance between delivery and governance.
  • Management of Asset Change Project resources.
  • Lead the planning and coordination of Asset Change Requests within the business unit or programme.
  • Presentation of changes to governance change boards to seek approvals for the changes
  • Provide regular ACR delivery performance data to management meetings
  • Provide guidance and advice on Asset Change Requests.
  • Develop and maintain awareness of latest industry health, safety and environmental standards.

What do we need from you?

  • Change Management experience
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels
  • Leadership experience
  • The ability to manage multiple workstreams
  • Decision maker with proven problem solving capability

The following would be advantageous ;

  • Project Management experience
  • NC/HND/Graduate level qualification or equivalent in business management, project management, construction industry, manufacturing Industry, environmental or health and safety related discipline.
  • Experience of working within a regulated environment
  • Experience and knowledge of hazard identification and risk assessment.

Candidates must be willing to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be willing and able to work in designated areas
