Mechanical Supervisor

A UK wide, award winning and highly respected organisationin the M&E service and installation sector have a genuinely,solid new opportunity fortheappointment of a Mechanical Supervisorto join their establishedbusiness.

With an enviable reputation in their field, we seek a Mechanical building services installationprofessional who is directly trade skilled and suitably qualified.

You will be anexperienced Mechanical Services Engineer by trade with previous direct working experience in the service and installation of mechanical services, boiler maintenance, repair and installationinto mainly domestic and light commercial workingenvironments, howevermost commercial premises involved will housemore domestic boiler systems.

In the main, you will organise and project managethe service and maintenance of domestic grade 70KW boilers. There will be on average only one direct replacement of a boiler forany given customer per month.These could be present in military barracks / quarters to logistics organisations for their drivers blocks and ablutions.

You will manage sub contractors, compliance and documentation as well as sourcing new sub contractors and the vetting of them.

In addition to boilers, some environments also have 'Powrmatic' air heaters which could be housed in warehouses etc. These too will be on your list of mainly serviced items as well as the maintenance and sometimes new installation of such.

You will work with on average 2-3 contractors at any one time covering approximately 50 sites UK wide.

Your priority will be managing the service of boilers on these sites, call outs and any issues your customers may have, therefore we are looking for someone who has the right attitude, professionalism and composure to deal with this, offering first class customer service.

Whilst working on existing service agreements, it is expected that this person can show some commercial awareness to assist with the engagement of new and even existing customers for additional support.

Working and predominantly based from their Northampton depot, you will report to a Service Manager in your predominantly remote anddirectional role, but you will be customer facing and visit sites as and when required to do so, hence the provision of an estate vehicle OR Ford Connect Van if of preference.
