Drive partnership engagement with this, hybrid working, Head of Sales role.

A totally unique role in the food industry to drive partnership engagement as part of a nonprofit organisation – joint partner planning, managing a team and working directly with customers.

This is a commercial leadership role in the food industry but with a twist.

The role is managing a team of six Commercial Managers working with customers across all sectors in the food industry including Retail and Manufacturing.

So, what makes it unique – well it’s a nonprofit organisation, their customers are partners, and the end goal is to reduce food waste and support the fight against food poverty across the UK.

This role will require someone who can lead, support and develop a team, manage a portfolio of key partners and drive new partner acquisition with the largest food suppliers and retailers.

To be successful in the role you will have a unique set of skills: –

• You will currently be a sales leader within the food industry
• Important experience is tendering process, joint business planning, competitor analysis and creating and execute strategic sales plans
• You will be a high performing negotiator via strong relationship building and be able to demonstrate past success in developing new customer opportunities from a cold start
• Demonstrable experience of driving significant growth and impact
• Knowledge of and interest in Sustainable Development and Corporate Social Responsibility
