The Role

As a JAVA Full Stack Lead Software Engineer with TATA Consultancy Services, you will play a crucial role in an agile team, focusing on the enhancement, construction, and delivery of top-tier technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop creative software solutions, design, and troubleshoot technical issues with innovative approaches.
• Produce secure and high-quality production code, and review and debug code written by others.
• Identify opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to enhance the stability of software applications and systems.
• Lead communities of practice in Software Engineering to promote new and leading-edge technologies.
• Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to a team of software engineers.
• Collaborate closely with various teams within the business to bring products to life.
• Work with customers to identify opportunities to support their strategy and improve processes across functions.

Your Profile

Key Skills/Knowledge/Experience

• Practical experience in System Design, Application Development, Testing, and Operational Stability.
• Proficiency in technologies and frameworks such as Java, J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Angular, JavaScript, Rest API, and React.
• Exposure to database servers such as Oracle and NoSQL databases like Cassandra.
• Knowledge of database ORM frameworks such as Hibernate and JPA.
• Hands-on experience with Microservices on Cloud Platforms, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience across the entire software development lifecycle.
• Exposure to agile methodologies and CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber for unit testing and automation testing.
• Ability to manage expectations of non-technical stakeholders.

Good to Have (As applicable)

• Hands-on experience or certification with AWS.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Knowledge of the BASEL regulatory reporting framework.
• Experience working in a regulatory-controlled environment.
