Job Description

Perceptual Robotics utilises ground-breaking, automated AI & Machine Learning technology to safely identify and predict operation-critical maintenance & repair needs for wind farm operations. Our technology and innovation is market-leading and truly ground-breaking and offers quantifiable and compelling value for our client base. We are expanding our team to drive and support our rapid growth.

This role has been specifically designed to drive revenue growth in our core markets. Initially, the role will deal with direct sales and partner channel relationships but ultimately will move to solely direct sales as the business grows. The Account Manager will be responsible for leveraging existing and establishing new relationships with key contacts in identified customer groups to secure new and repeat business for the full portfolio of our AI and Machine Learning-driven products and services. As Perceptual Robotics is relatively new-to-market, there will be a significant focus on prospecting, customer education and new customer acquisition although leveraging the existing base to drive additional share of wallet is also a key responsibility.

The initial primary target sector will be the wind industry although the individual will have the opportunity to identify and propose other market sectors in which Perceptual Robotics activities are business critical and to which we can bring significant value. Territory focus will be UK although this is likely to expand to include Europe and from time to time there may be a requirement to support enquiries or events from outside of these territories which may involve a level of international travel.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Working with all functions to articulate and deliver the PR Value Proposition
  • Understanding and interpreting customer needs to create deal winning proposals
  • Creating a new or building on an existing network of contacts in the PR target sectors
  • Bringing direct customer feedback to our products and services development roadmaps
  • Reporting against pre-agreed sales metrics
  • Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Representing PR at industry events, exhibitions and networking events
  • Developing, managing and reporting accurately on a quality sales pipeline

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years successful track-record in B2B Tech or software sales
  • Can demonstrate success in securing new accounts and growing them into
    Key Accounts over-time
  • Comfortable hitting or exceeding leading KPIs (e.g. activity targets) and
    lagging KPIs (e.g. revenue and pipeline value)
  • Must have strong contract negotiation skills and experience of leading
    complex sales in a 3-5 month sales cycle
  • Experienced in maintaining and using CRM data
  • Take initiative - we’re a small company still, so we’ll expect you to take ownership of whatever you work on.
  • Wants to grow with us. As we continue to grow, you’ll be called on to take more responsibility, mentor others and lead teams
  • Knowledge of English at a professional level

Desired Requirements

  • Experience of Renewables or related technology sectors is preferred
  • Brings network contacts in the wind industry or related sector
  • An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Contribute to building and developing an inclusive and diverse working environment
  • Ability to gather requirements, perform impact analysis for application changes and work on project delivery teams.
