Our Company

Wattbike is used by the biggest sports teams and athletes across the Premier League, NFL, national rugby teams and more, as well as thousands of everyday athletes at home.

They all have one common goal: to improve their health and fitness progression.

As Marketing Manager, and with a small team as support, you will be responsible for helping drive growth via our marketing campaigns and partnerships both in the UK and internationally, across D2C and B2B markets. You will work closely with the SLT (Senior Leadership Team) and HODs (Heads of Department) team to shape the overall marketing strategy and plan.

Our HQ is based in West Bridgford in Nottingham and the role will be able to blend home and office working with 3 days in the office each week.

Measures of success

· Ownership and development of weekly, quarterly, and yearly marketing and trading plans aligned to company growth pillars/strategy.

· Delivery of annual marketing KPIs

· Campaign performance (awareness, engagement, and revenue generation)

· Growth of our email database UK and ROW

· Management of our agencies and contractors to deliver on our objectives

· Cross function working across the wider Wattbike teams.

Requirements

Key roles and Responsibilities

• Annual Marketing & Budget Planning

• Manage and own the quarterly Marketing plans for the Ecommerce and Brand Marketing.

• Weekly and monthly reporting

• Monthly marketing budget management & forecasting

• Implement Wattbike’s annual marketing strategy and campaigns across social media, email, blog for B2C and B2B markets.

• Responsible for managing, creating and implementing seasonal content campaigns with Wattbike influencers and partnerships to drive traffic, engagement and leads that deliver sales and customer retention

• Responsible for the growth of the Wattbike database through new subscriber initiatives, trading offers and partnerships, supported by the Senior CRM Executive

• With the DTC Director plan and implement tailored customer journeys through website, CRM, and in-app

• Manage and be responsible for UK and US PR strategy with management of PR agencies – briefed and aligned to wider business objectives and campaign activity

• Global and international tracking and management of all marketing channels.

• Manage UK + US agencies and brief of work aligned to quarterly objectives and campaign activity

• Manage & develop Global Ambassadors, influencers & brand partnerships

• Drive awareness to the Wattbike Hub through engaging content campaigns to improve session rates and customer retention.

• Work closely with creative, photographer and video agencies to produce brand assets.

• Use consumer insights, research trends and competitor analysis to build insight-led content to enhance lead generation and retention

• Continually assess performance metrics to ensure optimal results and ROI against budget and targets

About you

• Proven success in leading marketing activations locally and internationally

• Digital mindset and data driven approach

• Proactive ability to work and build relationships with different departments and teams.

• Success in improving ROAS and marketing investment.

• Developed and managed brand ambassadors & partnerships

• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced SME environment and be open to change.

• Management Experience

• Passion for sports and fitness

• Min 3-5 years experience in a similar role
