Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PMO Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Project Management Office (PMO) in various administrative and analytical tasks to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects across the organization.

Requirements

Project Governance: - Establishing project management standards and methodologies. - Defining project roles, responsibilities, and decision-making processes. - Ensuring compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.

Project Planning and Execution: - Developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and budgets. - Coordinating project activities and resources. - Monitoring project progress and performance against objectives.

Resource Management: - Allocating resources (people, tools, and materials) to projects. - Managing resource utilisation and capacity planning. - Ensuring resource availability and resolving resource conflicts.

Risk Management - Identifying, assessing, and managing project risks. - Developing risk mitigation and contingency plans. - Monitoring and reporting on risk status.

Financial Management - Budgeting and forecasting project costs. - Tracking and controlling project expenditures. - Conducting financial analysis and reporting.

Quality Assurance - Ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices. - Conducting project audits and reviews. - Implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

Reporting and Communication: - Preparing and distributing project status reports. - Facilitating communication among stakeholders. - Managing project documentation and knowledge sharing.

Training and Development: - Providing training and support to project managers and team members. - Promoting the use of project management tools and techniques. - Developing and maintaining a repository of project management knowledge and best practices.

Portfolio Management: - Prioritising and selecting projects to align with strategic goals. - Balancing project portfolios to optimise resource utilisation. - Monitoring and reporting on the overall health of the project portfolio.

Change Management: - Managing changes to project scope, schedule, and budget. - Ensuring that changes are documented and approved. - Communicating changes to stakeholders and managing their impact. These tasks help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, while aligning with the strategic objectives of the organisation.

About you:

  • Proven experience in project management or PMO role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
