We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Headteacher to join our independent primary school in Boston. This is a permanent, full-time position starting in September 2024.

Salary: £44,000 - £50,000 per annum

The Role:

As the Assistant Headteacher, you will play a crucial role in managing the school campus and driving teaching and learning excellence. Additionally, you will serve as the Deputy Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily management of the school campus.
• Drive and enhance the quality of teaching and learning across the school.
• Support and develop teaching staff to ensure high standards of education.
• Act as the Deputy Safeguarding Lead, ensuring all safeguarding policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
• Work closely with the Headteacher and senior leadership team to support the school’s strategic objectives.
• Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student well-being and achievement.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial primary teaching experience.
• Proven leadership and management experience in an educational setting.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and experience in a safeguarding role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students.
• Commitment to the school’s ethos and values.
