Here at ISS, as one of the UK' s leading Facilities Management (FM) organisations are now looking to strengthen their engineering shift team dedicated against their client's campus facility in Glasgow, by the Rover Clyde, a short walk from the train station.
The client are in corporate banking, and this site is a multi building complex, housing 1000s of staff completing operations that are critical to the bank's UK operation
From a building maintenance perspective, this site is classed as critical, is home to complex electrical infrastructure and a variety of HVAC systems, all with an eye of energy efficiency
Here, you will lead two other Shift Engineer \ across the 12 hour (day & night shift) ensuring a robust planned and reactive maintenance service across building services systems
The work here, will be a blend of admin duties and on the tools works
This is a fantastic role for a current Lead Engineer or confident Engineer looking to progress into leadership, on a world class site, for a world class employer
Actions will include:
- Enforce and always maintain the Governance set out in the OPTIMA Critical manual and promote embedment
- Adhere to the SLA’s within the maintenance programme ensuring all systems and equipment for the client site are maintained accordingly and kept at their optimum condition
- Incident reporting and escalation is completed to processes and timelines
- Positively work towards gaining Approved person status in Electrical and Mechanical Disciplines and maintaining annual appointments.
- strong time management skills in completing multiple engineering tasks and adhering to deadlines and escalating where applicable
- Ensure your Shift team are coordinated in their tasks given by the Engineering manager to allow works completion within SLA to ensure we meet our contract KPI’s
- To carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated systems.
- Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements and Safe systems of work SSOW
- To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records and update documentation as directed.
We need from you:
- Electrical qualifications, maintenance experience and leadership abilities ideally
