Project Engineer - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing


Our client is a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company and top employer in the UK. Due to an internal promotion, they have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced project engineer to be part of a team delivering transformational projects to both infrastructure and manufacturing equipment as well as improvements to processes.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from start to finish, including design, construction, installation, testing, and handover.
  • Oversee the work of various team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all modifications comply with company procedures.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and develop solutions.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and work with manufacturing on future projects.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation.


What they're looking for:

  • An engineering degree (electrical, mechanical, chemical, or process).
  • Experience delivering projects as an engineer from a GMP environment. Pharma is ideal, although Food, Bioprocessing and Fine Chemicals will also be considered
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities.
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn.
  • Hands-on experience (preferred).
  • A drive to achieve results.
