Chef / Cook

We here at Siamo Recruitment are working with a leading tourist attraction looking to onboard a part time Chef / Cook or Cafe Assistant to join they're growing hospitality team on a part time and contractual basis.

This role will offer a work pattern of a Monday and Tuesday each week for the foreseeable future.

This will be a role when cooking, small amounts of grilling and food prep will be essential. This role offers the opportunity to work with a pleasant and team minded client.

This Cook / Chef role will have the below responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards

• Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed in the kitchen
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to provide excellent dining experiences
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
• List any stock required
• Ensure that stock is rotated and that best by and use by dates are strictly adhered to

Our client requires the below for this Chef / Cook opportunity:

• Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting
• Full UK Driving License / Commutable to outskirts of Cirencester
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
• Understanding of food safety regulations
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely meal preparation
