We are looking for somebody who will enjoy working as part of automotive test track facility team where you will see the very latest cars (including autonomous vehicles!), motorcycles, military vehicles, and trucks being tested and developed every day!

This Test Track Controller job will suit:

• A candidate with previous experience of working within a customer facing role your experience could have been gained within a variety of roles e.g., Service Advisor, Events Coordinator, Workshop Supervisor or Vehicle Technician.
• This is a truly varied role booking customers time onto the track, delivering track inductions / safety briefings, scheduling test activities, looking after customers on the test circuits etc
• Experience of working within an automotive, motor trade, vehicle engineering environment would be advantageous.
• You will need to hold a full clean driving licence.

The Test Track Controller job will involve:

• Working as a key member of the track control team ensuring the safe and effective scheduling of the proving ground / test track facilities.
• Monitoring test activities on the proving ground / test track, implementing schedules / restrictions with regards to test track activities.
• Carrying out induction tours for new customers and test drivers.
• Briefing customers on the safe operation of facilities on a daily basis.
• Use of computer-based systems for the booking of facilities and administration.
• This role will involve some evening and weekend working.
