The vision of The Health Trust is to make Silicon Valley the healthiest region in America—a place where every resident can achieve optimal health throughout their lifetime, no matter their background, income, race, ethnicity or age. We believe that health care does not just take place in a doctor’s office and clinic or hospital. For everyone to achieve optimal health, the community itself must become a place that supports the health of all its residents.
With a strong emphasis on prevention, we focus our work through three initiatives: Healthy Living, Healthy Aging and Healthy Communities.
To advance these initiatives, we rely on community partnerships, we award grants, we provide direct services including Meals On Wheels, AIDS Services, Children's Dental Services, and Wellness Access & Education, and we engage in policy and advocacy.
